THE CYC WALL

Infinite Space, Infinite Possibilities.

The Cyclorama at Siren Studio is the perfect blank canvas for creators and innovators who need to dream big.

The "cyc wall" is a 12 ft. high, 38' wide "seamless" wall without shadows or corners that can be astonishingly adaptable as a creative backdrop. Use it to frame up your speaker, actors, band, or product against an infinite white space...or pure blue, red, green. In fact, it can be any color you want. Or you can use the studio's projectors to project any environment or background you can think of.

Need a 38 foot wide green screen? No problem.

The Cyc Wall is made for immersion.

SIREN WAS CREATED for creating.

When Sam Kirby, founder of Bowling Green creative company Vid Monster, made the decision to open the studio to public he said this “I think our region is so bustling with creative talent… our hope is that we can build a more creative collaborative opportunity with a resource attached to it.” Not only is the vision of Siren Studio to awaken our regional creatives, but to also be a home to tech-forward trainings, events and special gatherings, movie showings, and more.

Visual creators, designers, educators, trainers, event throwers, partygoers… whoever you are, we have a creative space that is adaptable to fit just about anyone’s needs.

F.A.Q. - The Basics

  • Nope. While Siren is a perfect space for cameras, it can also be used as a venue for lots of different things: corporate presentations, awards events, livestream events, public speakers, and private gatherings of all kinds. Of course, where Siren Studio really excels are events intended to be recorded or livestreamed in some way.

  • Most events that require a venue like Siren are usually going to require some kind of before/after setup and tear-down work to make it happen. So the usual minimum rental time is 2 hours.

  • A media and creative shoot can host up to 15 people (less than full capacity to allow production room, equipment, etc.) For events, our maximum capacity is 60 standing and 40 seated.

  • Sure, so long as it can be easily removed when your rental period is up. However, if you need to stick something on the Cyc Wall floor or walls, we do ask that you check with us first. If you think there’s even a possibility that sticking something down might cause damage, just ask us about it. We will have some suggestions to make things work.

  • That can be arranged for a fee, just talk to us about it well in advance and we can probably make that happen.

  • Free onsite parking, Free street parking, Nearby parking lot

There is an open lot on both sides of the building. Parking is limited to 20 across both lots, but is perfect for small groups. There are several adjacent parking lots as well that we can work with to allow for larger parking needs.

  • Absolutely, just consult our team first to ensure our overhead grid is rated for the weight of whatever you plan to hang. Wall hanging is also permitted and easy to do with the steel beams that surround the building behind the curtains. As long material damage is not caused and it can be removed upon the end of your rental, you’re good to go!

  • Absolutely. However, please refrain from bringing in alcohol unless you discuss it with us prior to the event.

  • At this time, there isn’t a Green Room in the studio. However, we do have some comfortable seating available inside.

  • The studio building itself is very private. Outside the studio…which is located in downtown Bowling Green…. the privacy is relative due to the building being right on 7th Ave.

  • Just ask us! If it’s not a great fit for Siren Studio, we’ll let you know.

F.A.Q. - The TECHNICAL STUFF

  • Absolutely, we want to help you make the most of your rental. A representative will meet you at the beginning of your rental and end and also be on-call for you during your rental. If you are needing more technical support, we are happy to provide an hourly or day rate to fit your needs.

  • Absolutely. If you already know your way around a studio, you can run the board yourself. If you need some help, we can always jump in to make sure you know where the buttons are.

  • We have lights, stands, and other equipment available for a fee. Just ask us about it when planning your event. Equipment availability that is not studio-installed may vary.

  • We have gear for rent, but this is something that’s best discussed one-on-one. If your video shoot or event is needing camera & sound gear, we’ve got some good options for you.

  • There should be more than enough power outlets for almost any need during an event. If you have a concern, by all means let us know and we’ll walk you through the details.
